Blue solar mppt 150 /70 charges just on specific times. Problem occurred recently

The problem occurred 6 months after installation.

It charges from in the morning from 6 to 12 and sometimes 6-10.

The bulk light shines as if the battery is charging but shows o watts.

Did an firmware upgrade and total reset but does not solve the problem

Please tell us more. Is there something else controlling it, like a battery BMS or GX box? Is it a CAN or VE.Direct model?

Not much more we can offer, except perhaps to point out that without external influence, it can't tell the time itself. So if those times are 'exact/reproducible', something else may be causing the issue..

Yes it's connected to an ccgx color control and lithium batteries... The weird thing is even if you take out the ve direct cable it causes the the same problems

Please use the export history function in VictronConnect and post the results here to provide more information.

Also is the GX device connected to VRM? If you can post the site ID, that will explain a lot.

Hi Wikus, and welcome. Might as well attempt an answer rather than a comment, hey.

Ok, so both GX and Li's, which *should* have a BMS. (CAN connected to GX?).

The removal of the VE.Direct cable between the GX and the mppt is a clue, and perhaps puts influence of the GX lower down the list.

The BMS? may well have shut down/failed, and refusing to accept current. I'd try testing the mppt into something else (or even bypassing the bms if you can for a short test) to try to narrow down the possible cause.

Sorry Pal, but troubleshooting this stuff is hard from a distance, especially with minimal info.

If 'hunches' count, the BMS is where I'd head first.
