Can I connect a bluesmart ip22 charger to venus?

Hi All

Happy New Year

I was just wondering if there was anyway to connect the bluesmart ip22 charge to venus on rpi?

Hi @Mark,

There is no supported way to connect the BlueSmart Battery Chargers IP22 to a GX device, or other running Venus.

Usually connection to a GX requires some data port (VE.Bus, VE.Direct). The Bluetooth interfaces are usually accessed using VictronConnect.

Generally speaking - the list of compatible products supported by the GX range (eg CCGX) and other unsupported devices running VenusOS (eg Raspberry Pi) is the same - https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ccgx:start#connecting_victron_products
