Can I use a bluetooth to Modbus RS485 converter to poll data from a Smartsolar MPPT?

Hi,


I need to connect the Smartsolar MPPT to a 3rd party Modbus gateway.


Can I do this by connecting the MPPT to the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle and then use a 3rd party Bluetooth to Modbus converter to connect it to the 3rd party Modbus gateway?
