So yesterday I installed 1600w of dc coupled pv and turned on the mppt for the first time at 4pm, the sun was beaming down on the panels and I soon went from 27% to 36% soc in my 42kwh batteries. My grid setpoint is -30% and my 10kva inverter is set without inverting limit. I have also set for zero export except for my 3kw ac coupled pv system.
But as soon as I draw a load over 3 or kW, several 100 watts as drawn from the grid. And this draw is mounting up. The idea is to only pay a standing charge!
