I have a mppt connected with ve direct calble to a Cerbo GX but the mppt is not in the device list and on the panel the pv panels are not presented. The mppt works fine and generates power.
When i scan for updates to connected products i get the message that ther is no ping reply on the ve direct.
Do you think that the ve direct cable is bad? All products are newly bought.
Did you try to restart the GX?
Could be the cable. Guess you don't have another to try.
Guess you've also tried plugging/replugging. These cables need a firm push.
It's also worth restarting the Cerbo by unplugging the power, waiting a minute or so, then restarting it.
There's a 5 year warranty on the kit. Best have a chat with the dealer to see if there's anything else to try. But probably the cable if it's plugged in properly.
