Can the VE Bus Mains detector be used to identify mains present in a system without a VE Bus inverter/charger? The system has a Cerbo and I wonder if connected to the Cerbo, will it work to identify mains present?

It's not designed for that, only the MultiPlus/Quattro gets/uses that Signal.
