VE.Bus BMS and MultiPlus K1 Relay

I want to use the Load Disconnect signal from a Ve.Bus BMS to turn off a heavy duty relay controlled by the MultiPlus K1 relay. Not sure on the wiring required. Is it as simple as connecting the Load Disconnect Signal to the "+" of Aux 1 and the "-" of Aux 1 to battery negative?

Then use an assistant to turn off K1 when Aux 1 goes low?

Thanks for any assistance.

After finding some online references, the AUX input registers a high value (on) when Aux "+" is connected to Aux "-". When they are not connected then it registers a low value (off). The connection can be achieved in many ways such as by using an optocoupler or the volt free contacts of a relay.

Just posting this for anyone in the future that needs this info. (Hope I am correct)
