Does multi rs solar require a Cerbo GX to connect pylontech battery?

hello guys I have a multi Rs solar 48v 6000KVA I need to install a pylonTech battery do i need a Cerbo gx or I can directly connect the bms cable to the inverter?

hi, yes you will need a cerbo gx and a victron can bms cable (type A or B) see:

Hi @tabet

But you can also do without it...

Meaning, correctly setting voltages in the Multi RS, the Pylon's BMS together with the Multi's charger will be more than capable to handle your needs, without the need of connecting the BMS to the Multi.

In the end, that is the BMS for, to take a supplied voltage and handle all the things without outside intervention.

I have such a system that worked well in both cases, with and without Cerbo.
