Is it possible to use Pylontech batteries with mppt + venusGX + phoenix inverter for an offgrid application?
Do I need to use a multiplus instead?

Hi, yes it is possible but you must have GX (CCGX or Venus) as 'brain". Can cable to Pylon, Bus to Phoenix and VE to MPPT. Follow instructions on Pylon setup here: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/battery_compatibility:pylontech_phantom
I originally quoted on new Phoenix 2000 Smart, but due to supply issue i actually installed a MultiPlus II 3000 friday. Running VERY smoothly like it should. Bonus feature: give customer ability to charge battery with small generator in overcast situations.
PS. I am new, but i had this setup vetted by 2 experienced parties prior to installation. I also configured it at my house prior to install, but all went smooth as silk except to update the firmware on CCGX (Had to dig out my router behind cupboard in order to plug in in via ethernet). If only CCGX had built-in Bluetooth or WiFi, but that is a discussion for another day :)
Hi guys, happy to read the possibility to connect Phoenix inverter with Pylontech batteries; I have a question for you, seen your experience: is it possible to parallel 2 SmartSolar chargers considering I want ot install panels on the second side of my roof.
Here is my system: https://vrm.victronenergy.com/installation/25815/share/37871bab
I found a scheme on https://www.victronenergy.com/live/battery_compatibility:pylontech_phantom. bye
