I have not been able to see the battery SOC in the dashboard on VRM for quite some time. I also do not see SOC in in the Advanced dashboard I thought I'd try restarting everything, which I did today while out at the site. It's still not showing. Any thoughts?
Hi @JohnCO what is you're system using to get soc data. Do you have a smart shunt or something equivalent to a smart shunt.
Or does the soc come from the battery (bms)? And if so what battery is it and had the communication/Soc ever shown up?
My first check is whichever device is monitoring soc does it show up as a device on gx device list. And if not I'd double check none of the communication wires have come looks.
@matt1309 I have a smart shunt - the Victron one. No BMS. They are lead-acid batteries. The SOC has shown up flawlessly for a year and a half, and then last month just stopped. The site is remote and I don't get there very often during the winter. I was able to get there over the weekend and restarted everything and still nothing. Then a few hours ago - boom! - the SOC is showing up again! I did not check wiring, but that's a good idea for the next time I'm out there in a few weeks. I've had corrosion problems on the batteries that require regular attention, and it's possible a connection is intermittent.

But as the original post shows little/no information it's probably a poor/intermittent connection between the shunt and Cerbo.
