BMV 712 - now bricked due to forced update.

Installed new BMV-712 - worked for 5 minutes - until connection via bluetooth - followed instructions to update firmware...to 4.01 - now bricked - displays bt200.....have tried to update via Victron Connect app on iPhone 8 and Mac - same result - Current Version Firmware = none get error #31....HELP

Hi @cajun1,

There are several questions on the community with the same issue, with various answers leading to success depending on the circumstances.

The good news, it is not possible to cause any damage to the device with a failed firmware update.
