240V generator with two 120V Multiplus ii units to charge battery bank

Can I use a 240V generator with two 120V Multiplus II units to charge my battery bank when it gets low? I can utilize either 120 or 240 to my home. Just have an existing 240v gen and don't really want to have to replace if I can make this setup work.

Using a transformer should be the simplest solution. 120->240 in one direction and 240->120 in the other direction.

If the generator is split phase 240 and the multi's are stacked in split phase then should work fine. Otherwise, as stated above use a auto-transformer.
