Low production after warranty replacement of MPPT RS 450/100 after error #200

Hi Everyone

My system has an easysolar 48/300 gx II with MPPT RS 450/100

However Ive noticed since adding it to system the solar production is veery low down to barelt 1 to 2 kw per day

I have 2 strings of 7x canadian solar 410 w on the 450/100

attached is todays production

I would appreciate any advice please

many thanks !

I have updated firmware of all items to latest ones

@ukXan

Since the set up would have been disturbed rather alot with the replacement.

Check connections, polarity and make sure the programming is correct.

V max on the battery is 50.67v what is the target voltage? Is it reading the battery correctly?

all connections are identical to previous unit

all battery settings etc are ext controlled by BMS as unit is slave

I appreciate the connection are the same. I have recently gone to trouble shoot a site with a replacement to find small things were not taken care of.

One was basic programming the second was insulation clamped. and some mc4s were not quite home. Yet essentially it was a straight swap out...

To rule out control issues, set to no BMS control and see if in stand alone (and properly programmed) the mppt makes full production and hits target voltages.

If you Bluetooth connect with Victron connect to the mppt you can remove BMS control from there.

Did you program it before hanging it?

Make sure it is programmed correctly for your battery when working in stand alone.

Is it measuring the battery voltage correctly. Check that as well with. DMM
