Charging function with new Victron MultiPlus 2

Multiplus 2 used with 800Ah Renogy lithium batteries. There seems to be a disparity between measured voltage and SOC - when the SOC drops (e.g. to 50%) the voltage measurement remains above 14V and the Multiplus goes directly to absorption and float. The indicated SOC then never goes back up to full (100%). Could anybody help with this please - I am concerned about damaging the batteries.

Lithium has a flat voltage curve until the upper and lower limits of charge.

You can't correlate SOC to voltage like you could on old lead acid batteries.

If these are managed batteries they will send the SOC via CAN to the GX, if not, then there should be a shunt properly customised for the battery.

@edanzfuss is this a 12v system or a 24v system?
Do you have Optimized with BatteryLife turned on or off?

What charge schedules do you have set up and are then to 100%?

It is a 12V system; standalone on a boat, not ESS
