Can 2 smaller Phoenix 24/1200 inverters be synced for split phase? Want to wire to my shed panel but don’t want to shell out $1,300 a piece for 2 x multiplus units.

If the Phoenix has a VE.Bus connection then yes, the units can be wired and configured for split phase operation.
