Glass Bridge integrates with Victron - Will this work on older plotters?

Hi,

I have a B&G Zeus 12 from around 2012 and a new Victron Venus GX. Can I connect the Venus to my plotter to show the data, like you do in this video? https://youtu.be/RWdEQfYZKEs

Hi Kurtinge,

thumbs up for finding an old question rather than making a duplicate!

I dont think it will work with anything older than the models listed here:

if it would, Navico would have supplied us with a different list I’m sure.

This is upto B&G and you would need to put your unit on the latest B&G firmware and then connect it to the CCGX or venus and then see what you get.

my suspicion would be No it will not but testing is the only way to know for sure

Problem is that the B&G (unlike a Garmin) needs a proprietary cable to connect to the ethernet cable, and I do not want to buy one if it does not work.
