How do I change the state of the AC input relay from the Mk2.2b interface? I have tried commands 0x32/0x34 and 0x37 and both are rejected as “not supported”.

Have you tried :
7.3.8 CommandGetSettingInfo
This command can be used to get information about which settings are supported, and
how to interpret them. A list of setting IDs can be found in chapter 7.3.11.
to see if your unit supports this?
I would also consider this to be a setting that is not intended to be used frequently...
