MPPT 75/15 to charge 24 battery better on is own or with 12/24 DC to DC charger?

Hi There,

Looking for some advice on how to better charge two 100 amp lithium batteries in series for a 24V trolling motor on a boat.

I got a smart solar 75/15 MPPT and a 12/24 DC to DC charger, the plan is to use the alternator on the outboard to charge the lithium battery as will be more efficient but I was wondering if I want to use solar to charge them am I better using the MPPT on its own or connect the load output to the DC to DC ?

The MPPT will charge 24V. If it has been used on 12V, you may need to reset voltage as per manual.

Connect both direct to the batteries. Use the output/charger terminals of the MPPT, not the load ones.
