Direct data extraction from VRM Portal to Excel spreadsheet

I have various spreadsheets which I use to monitor the performance of my PV system. At the moment I extract data manually using the 'custom' range of my VRM Portal. This may be daily data, monthly data or data from the initiation of my system up to the current date. I have both numerical and graphic spreadsheets.
Has anyone done this before?
