How to calculate LFP battery cycle?

Hi to all victron community.

I read lots of different calculation method to count exactly one cycle of a LFP battery. What is the right one for Victorn's LFP? If I continuously re-charge them for example from 30% to 40%, does it also count as +1 ?

Thanks for your suuport

Have nice day

Well, that’s really up to you. 1,000 small cycles in the middle of the capacity cause way less degradation than 1,000 cycles from 100% to 0% and back.

Sometimes you will see long term tests run from something like 100% down to 20% or to 50%. Those are common cycling ranges since they approximately fairly heavy use in real life.

What do you want to use the cycle count for?
