use IR-sensor on D0-interface of SML-smartmeter as gridmeter

Hi community,

I wrote a dbus-service which reads data directly via USB-TTL from an IR-sensor attached to the smartmeter of your local electricity provider.

With this, you can setup ESS without the need of installing an extra gridmeter.

  1. Hi schollex, ich bin auf der Suche nach genau deinem Ansatz das Smartmeter direkt einzubinden. Funktioniert deine Lösung auch parallel zu Louisvdw/dbus-serialbattery? Nachdem ich den Lesekopf angeschlossen habe wurde ein falsches neues BMS erkannt. Kannst du mir hier weiterhelfen? Aktuell importieren ich die Smartmeterdaten per MQTT. Läuft schon ganz gut.

Ich habe leider keinerlei Erfahrung mit Louisvdw/dbus-serialbattery.
