Victron Orion Tr 1212-30A in combination with SmartShunt 500A/50mV

Hey there,

I would like to use the Orion Tr 12/12-30A in combination with the 500A/50mV Smart Stunt, but I'm currently unsure which version I should choose: isolated or non-isolated? Does the Shunt work correctly with the non-isolated version? I would prefer to avoid having to run an additional negative wire if possible.

Hi @ToniToni You will need the isolated version to seperate the negative input from the negative output. You can then measure either power input or output depending on what side of the Orion you use.
