Grid feed-in not working

Hi guys, I’m having an issue with my MultiPlus II.

This is my setup:

  • Multiplus connected to the grid via AC-in.
  • GerboGX.
  • 2x 200Ah 48v batteries with built-in BMS - connected and communicating with MultiPlus.
  • Homey connected to the system with intention to control the setup and adjust feed-in/charging based on electricity cost.

Charging works, and I’m also able to see that the Homey connection works.

ESS is configured, but I’m in no luck feeding back to the grid. :(

Any suggestions on what I have done wrong?

You need a compliant grid code set for ESS to work properly.

That easy? :P

Do you have any idea on which grid code to choose for Norway?

Not sure. What are your ESS settings from the GX?

You did enable DC feed in?

If you set a negative setpoint does it work?

Setpoint is -2000w. Chose Denmark for grid code. Unfortunately nothing else seems to have changed - it won't feed into grid. It keeps saying "charging". :( screenshot-2023-04-28-at-172720.pngscreenshot-2023-04-28-at-172732.pngimg-c0915502c7c5-1.jpeg

Solved: For some reason, the system will not feed back to grid when the cable between the MK3 USB adapter and the inverter is connected. After pulling the cable, feed-in worked like charm. :)

Yes, you can’t have that and a gx connected simultaneously. It is documented, would have been a good point to mention as we’d have got to the bottom a lot quicker.
