capacitance tank monitor

Been looking forever for a way to monitor my captivate tank sensors with Venus but only thing I have found is restive.

Short of anything thing from Victron when SiMarine adds NMEA2000 to PICO and their tank senders do you think I will be able to interface. NMEA2000 is a standard protocol right?

Hi, yes NMEA2000 is a standard protocol. A complex one (so even if two companies both comply, things might still not work together) but a standard indeed.

Most nmea2000 senders work on our GX devices.

There is a section in the manual explaining the details: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ccgx:start#connecting_nmea-2000_tank_senders

Speaking of tank senders: this one seemed quite good to me.

We havent tested it yet though:

We have tested and can confirm it works fine.

I've been using these and they plug and play once programmed for tank size, etc...

Can these units just stick on the side of the tank, or do they penetrate the plastic container?
