There is no option to reset to factory defaults.

I've added all details around this to the manual:

https://www.victronenergy.com/live/venus-gx:start#factory_reset

It will be reviewed / completed, later this week.

best regards, Matthijs

Looks like this has moved to here?

Another question - I'm keen to explore Venus OS Large, which needs a repartition. Will a factory default reset restore the default partitions as well?

Hi, yes it has moved indeed.

and no, that network settings reset doesn’t reset the partitioning - no need also as you can still run the normal images as well after repartitioning.

Do be careful with that repartitioning procedure - success!

Hi, an update: since a recent firmware version, it is possible to reset all networking settings, such as remote console password and ip addressing back to their defaults.

see the venus gx manual for details.
