VRM portal ID for SmartSolar MPPT 75/15

Hi I have a SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 charger and i am looking for the VRM portal ID. It is not on the product and not on the packaging. My SN is HQ1839TUHLY. Thanks. Chris

Hi Chris

Unfortunately, the MPPT its self does not communicate with VRM. It does not have a network connection of any sort.
VRM requires a gateway device, known as a Venus device. Either a CCGX, Venus GX etc. The Venus device then has a network connection to transfer the data to VRM.
Another option is to use a RaspberryPi with the Venus image running on it. If you go down the RaspberryPi route, you'll need a VE.Direct - USB adaptor to connect your MPPT to the RaspberryPi.
