We have designed our own Battery Monitoring device and portal for the Satellite communication industry. It records some of the values that the VRM portal does but uses much less data (about 1MB/month). This is specifically geared to satellite industry where data costs are very expensive.
The device uses the VE.Direct port for communication. We are using it on the lower end of the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT devices (75/10 and 75/15 etc). Firmware version 1.61
My question: The charger error code reads two values and appears to randomly jump between them. The first value is 0 (Zero) - which we see as "no error" according the documentation.
The second is "180". I cant find a description of this error code. Checked several of the online pages, protocol documents and etc.
The system operates normally and we can't see any problems.
Does anyone (maybe the design engineers) know about the 180 code, what it could be?
