Older Processor Quattro/Multiplus Battery Change

Morning

We did installation of 8-10 years ago and recently we replaced old lead acid batteries with lithium batteries however the older processors (1958 on a Quattro we did on this past Friday) cannot update to ESS. I had to use Virtual switch to disconnect form grid based on Voltage and disable the charger to prevent grid from charging the battery during grid connection.

My question is, does Victron plan on making an update available to older processors to allow ESS to be installed as this will become a bigger issue as more people need to replace their batteries with Lithium alternatives.

The reason for moving to a new microcontroller is because the old microcontroller lacks the features (RAM, Flash memory) and performance (CPU) required for progressive features like ESS.

It's the same reason why Windows 10 doesn't run on a system with a 286 CPU.
