Can I rotate photos on VRM?

I've added photos that were taken from my iPhone. VRM seems to ignore any rotation information. I've even tried rotating the photos on the computer and then uploading them, and they still display upside down. Any suggestions?

I think the orientation needs to bewritten in the metadata. Make sure the the software you are using to rotate the photo is writing the metadata correctly.

I was able to get the originals to hold the orientation by saving them in a different program. A bit of a hassle, but makes it work. Thanks for the suggestions!
