Need help with battery balancer and dc to dc charger

I need help with this idea to see if it will work.

in the attached sketch is my plan.

I'm looking to use a 12v dc to dc charger to charge 2x 12v dc leisure battery's.

Questions:

1, Do i need a battery balancer?
2, Can i put my leisure batteries in series to get 24v but still use a 12v dc to dc charger or maybe 2?

3, Any suggestions please note i have 12v battery from van but need 24v for the inverter that i want to use.

You have a short circuit across one of the batteries. Both terminals of the left battery are connected via the posite cables to the Orion and the bridge between the batteries.

Best to use a 12/24 model which will give the 24V output you need.

Balancer is a good idea.

Thank you.

So I will change the 12v dc to dc charger to 12/24 model and only link far left terminal on positive side.
