Hi, I have recently come into a large amount of 12v cells (full river 77-12 DCG), through work i basically got them for free, i was hoping to build a 48v battery bank, i have a bus bar setup with all equal length cable from each string ecetra. i wanted to add the battery balancer, has anyone connected it to this many series strings?, or would there be to much current on charging to balance effectively?, system will be running a 5kw inverter with minimal loads, charging will be 8kw of solar, ive seen diagrams on here and comments of people who have 3 or 4 strings but wonder if anyone has tried this many?
any help or direction would be muchly appreciated
