I have a Victron MP2 5kVA installed as a single phase backup for a 3 phase connection. The incoming connection from the grid has an ET340 connected. The system also has an SMA 8kW gridtie 3 phase inverter and a solar edge 2.2kW single phase gridtie but there is no Ethernet / Wifi comms to these inverters.
I am getting data from the energy meter on the VRM that looks like this:
Anyone know what is going on? I would expect the solar curve to be that * -1 with some offset?
No the meter is not installed incorrectly. Incoming supply from the grid is at the top of the meter and outgoing to loads / household from the bottom.
The gaps in the data are courtesy of the South African government's incompetence to deliver reliable power to the country.
