Hi everyone!
I would like to add a Waveshare USB-CAN-B Interface:
to my Venus.os Large setup running on a Raspberry pi 4 to talk a SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 VE.Can.
SetupHelper as well as VeCanSetup from kwindrem are installed on my system and running so far.
I am able to ssh into my pi4 and run the VeCanSetup "setup" script from kwindrem.
It finds the divice:
usb 1-1.4: New USB device found, idVendor=1a86, idProduct=7523, bcdDevice= 2.54 usb 1-1.4: Product: USB2.0-Serial select this device for can10 (y/n)?:
But wathever USB device types I try to add it as, it never shows up under "Services".
Most probalby it should be abled to be added as a "custom slcan USB" Device but I have no clue what to enter as additional slcan options.
Any help highly appreciated!
