Pylontech ESS Assistant Config

Hello

I have 4x US5000 Pylontech batteries connected to a Multiplus ii and I have configured the ESS assistant but would like confirm I have configured it correctly.

Here are the options that I configured from each setup of the wizard:

After reading the Victron/Pylontech guide I think this should be correct but thought I would check incase any damge is done to the batteries.

I have also setup a charging schedule and turned off grid feed in since I do not have any PV. Are there any other settings I should consider on the GX device for ESS?

Are there any GX settings I should consider to extend lifetime of the batteries or should I leave the defaults?

Cheers

-Paul

@pauldunn

Just one change there.....Change the battery type to the other lithium option. [System uses other tyoe BMS....]

Double check your other settings like float and absorption values they should be 52 and 51. They will be damaged with thise settings.

Best print out or pay more attention to the guide.

Next time you run theough the ESS assistant dont allow the system to change the battery type.

Thanks for you reply.

If you check my first screenshot you can see I did select the option you advise, or am I missing something?

Thanks for mentioning those other settings, im not sure how I missed them. I was just looking purely at the ESS section of that page when using VE Confgure.

So here are the other screens that are mentioned in the guide. Does this also look ok now?
