On the Victron LFP data sheet..
The Smart 12,8/200-a is 22kg and 237 x 321 x 152
The Smart 12,8/200 is 44kg and larger at 297 x 425 x 274
All the other figures are the same, why the huge difference in weight and size for the same capacity.
Is the 12,8/200-a available for purchase?
Somebody from Victron must be able to answer this question since the information data sheet showing the details Is on the website
Hello, No its not a misprint. there are substantial changes in size/weight for these models as also earlier the latest 100 and 150AH became available in much smaller sizes/weight. These 200Ah of the a model are not avaiable yet but will be in the coming month(s).
Eventually the other models will be "upgraded" as well. The 24/200Ah is the first in row.
maybe a misprint? on the Victron LFP data sheet the dimensions 237 x 321 x 152 given for the LFP Smart 12,8V/200-a match those indicated on the same sheet in the column for the 12,8V/150Ah. as well, on this Victron LFP battery product range changes sheet, here:

again, matching the dimensions indicated for the 12.8V/150Ah (BAT512115610).

Any update on the Smart 12,8/200-a ? Are any of the other Smart batteries likely to receive similar upgrade ?
Was also wondering about the difference and recently ordered two 200-a via my shipyard. What was then shipped was the older bigger model and we returned it. The newer much smaller and lighter model arrived recently and is meanwhile installed. It works fine as promised, though it has only a few cycles by now. Dimensions in the spec are correct and seem to be the same as for the 150Ah. The terminals are not M10 but M8.
Are the 25,6/200-a compatible with 25,6/200? I have 25,6/200 that are about half a year old, and i'm looking to expand storage. I would add 4 batteries with 2 sets of 2. This would be paralelled with the existing 2 sets of 2.
