Venus keeps loosing internet connection

Hello!

A Venus has a LAN connection and the WiFi as a failsafe enabled and set up in case someone pulls the network cable.

The VRM works fine for 3-10 days until it looses it's connection to the Venus and the only way to get it back online is to power down the Venus and back up again and all works....for some time. DHCP enabled and latest Venus FW.

What could this issue be caused by?

Hi @offroadflow

It could be one of many possible things causing it, ISP outages, dicky modem or router, etc.

You could try automating your reboot, like this.. 1668317028912.png

I've suffered this myself (I suspect a wan wifi modem issue), but I no longer notice it. The 1 hr delay I think is recommended by Victron somewhere in the literature, as you don't want it rebooting continuously on a longer outage.
