The Inverter RS Smart Solar with a single tracker has the two positive and two negative PV inputs connected internally in parallel.
Therefore if you are within all other specifications (and it sounds like you are) then you can just use a single cable string and only one pair of the PV panel inputs, leaving the other pair empty.
