3rd party serial to VE.Direct and VRM

Hi,

I am looking to get 3rd party device data into VE.Direct by serial cable (RS-232).

Only looking for a few different critical values.

Was thinking it should be possible to emulate a Victron device and make that show in the VRM over a GlobalLink 520.

3rd party device is running Linux OS and scripting is possible.

I see many that reads VE.Direct signals/devices successfully and wondered if anyone have done the opposite by ingesting data from 3rd party?

It's not supported to show 3rd party device data in VRM.
