I'm hoping to get the technical specification for the cabling required to connect Pylontech batteries (US5000, in particular) and Venus GX with Multiplus attached. What are the connectors required at each end, please? I suspect the GX end is VE-CAN, but is there a different connector required for the PylonTech BMS end?

Leave pins 1to3 empty on the cable. It is stated explicitly in the Pylon manual to do so. And the cable kit comes with the pins 1-3 not connected so strong clies there.
The GX to the VE bus is a straight patch/UTP cable also outlined here in the manual.
