If you already have a Lynx smart BMS in your system, do you still need the Orion DC to DC charger to charge your house battery from the van battery/ alternator?

Do you need Orion Tr Smart with Lynx Smart BMS?
Yes absolutely. Unless you have an alternator that has a regulator that can be controlled via the Alternator ATC output of the Lynx Smart BMS to ensure the alternator is shut down beforehand in the event of a battery disconnect from the DC system to avoid damage to the alternator.
