Overload one 1-phase in a 3-phase system

Hi all,

Could not find the answer. Excuse me if the question already had been asked...

On a 3-phase off-grid system systems (3x Quattro 10000), will the whole system shut down if there is an overload on only 1 phase?

Thanks,
Ronan

@RonanLG

It does depend on how long the overload was sustained for.

But yes if it is bad enough it will shut the whole system down.

Yeah, that what I thought. Though, I had a confusion reading another post. Maybe an update allowed the 2 other phases to work while the overloaded one was "stand-by"...

Thanks for your fast answer !

If you dont actually have three phase appliances you can have three separate systems, one for each phase. Then they can be switched separately and still use ESS.

For three phase and ESS switched as a group must be on.
