Venus GX Set & Monitor All Devices?

I read a comment that was a response to someone having problems with Venus. It said Venus GX can only monitor, it cannot set devices like MPPT or Multplus. Is that true? The website says it can.

Does Venus run the same OS as the Color GX?

Your links do not give an answer to the first question.
We need to know if SmartSolar MPPT, connected to CCGX or VenusGX or OCTOGX with the latest firmware, can now be set via VRM.

You can remotely configure VE.bus products:

upgrading firmware for VE.bus products is not possible


And remotely update firmware to ve.direct and ve.can products.
