BMV 700 worked with BlueSolar 75/15 via VE.Direct cabel, 12V system. Replaced the charger with a SmartSolar 100/20 48V. BMV says "connecting" but doesn´t. What am I missing?

I assume that you are using a MPPT Control and not a BMV700 as the BMV cannot be directly connected to an MPPT? What is the software version of the MPPT Control? You can find this under setting #20 on the MPPT Control.
