I should mount a dual battery on a Toyota Land Cruiser J15, engine 3.000cc (190 CV).
I would like that the second battery can charge fridge etc, while the starter better is not consumed,
Don’t understand if to use a isolatore or a combiner.

In vehicles usually a Victron Cyrix-ct 120A is used for this purpose. When a battery is charged (can be on either side) and voltage rises, the relay closes and both batteries get charged. When the voltage drops because charging is stopped/reduced, then the relay opens to prevent the discharge of the other battery.
It has an optional switch to connect both batteries. In case your engine battery is without power to start the engine, the second battery can help to start.
