AC Fusing Parallel Multiplus II Devices

In the Parallel, split- and three phase VE.Bus systems manual it states "With regards to AC fusing, each unit needs to be fused individually. "

However, the Wiring Unlimited document (p55) states "For units in parallel it is advised to use one AC fuse for all units on that phase."

Both documents do state that multiple fuses that are mechanically linked is OK.

Seems contradictory - clarification would be welcome.

What is means is you do need to be able to disconnect power to all the inverters ideally at the same time.

On a three phase one breaker will disconnect to all of the incoming power at the same time, so they are individually 'fused' but can be switched at the same time.

For a parellel the same thing needs to happen, each incoming has a disconnect but both need to be able to disconnect together. (Mechanically linked)
