Voltage Sense in Multiplus when open

Hello,

What is supposed to be the voltage in the V Sense terminals of a Multiplus 3000/24/70 when a is connected to battery and operating? The V Sense terminals are not connected (left open) and I see the same exact voltage as in the DC input terminals. Is this normal?

The Multi would use the voltage from the battery connection on the Multi to sense the voltage when there’s no V-sense connected. When you do connect V-sense, it allows the Multi to read the voltage at the battery terminals, as the voltage at the connection on the multi will differ due to cable losses when you have high loads. In short, it is normal what you see

Do the voltage sense cables go negative onto the negative battery terminal and positive onto the positive terminal? I can't find any instructions for this (do they exist?).
