Hi I have a mppt smart solar and a smart battery sense, so do I have to manually set the temperature compensation or will the mppt do this automatically if I set the values for my batteries at 25c?

You are lucky, Rolls have a very good User Manual.

Page 25 gives Bulk/absorb and float voltages, as well as the temp compensation figure of 4mV / °C / Cell. -24mV for a 12v battery, -48mV for a 24v battery

You will have to change the temp compensation figure in the mppt, as Victron use the figure of -16mV.

Mppt manual, Follow the instructions.
