VE.Direct between Multiplus2 GX and Smartsolar 100/20 possible?

I have a setup under construction with a Multiplus2 GX and a Smartsolar 100/20.
In the past, I got the impression that it was impossible to connect these together using VE.Direct.
(I probably read the non-GX manual at some point by mistake).
I'm looking for confirmation that I in fact can connect these two with VE.Direct?

Yes, the VE.Direct port on the MultiPlus II GX is designed to be connected to a MPPT.
The VE.Direct port on this model is actually part of the GX card inside the MultiPlus.
