Not enough port ?

Hello,

I'm think about installing for a client a system with:

  • x 1 Multiplus 48/5000
  • x 5 SmartSolar 250/60
  • x 1 SmartShunt 500
  • x 4 Lithium Batteries 12,8V 200Ah + VE.BUS BMS
  • x 1 GX device (and here's the question)

I have nr. 3 VE.DIRECT, nr. 2 VE.DIRECT-USB ports on a Cerbo but I have nr. 6 devices to connect... the Octo GX does not seem to have the display to move around different options so I have no idea how to get all the data I need to see into one solution.

You buy the ve can smart solar mppts and daisy chain them to the ve can port using the utp cables. Then you can connect up to 25 if you want.

Go for the Cerbo there is no question this is the best option these days.

you can also use an USB Hub and this VE.Direct to USB Interfaces:

I also recommend to go for the Cerbo. But the VE.Direct ports are limited there, too.
