Grid setpoint

Hi all

So my playing around with setting the grid setpoint to force charging has led to another question:

What if the grid setpoint is set to (for example) 5000W, my AC loads are 1000W and the maximum current into the batteries (48V) is 60A?

By my maths, I'm using 4000W - will the inverter drop the grid draw to around 4000W? If not, where does the extra energy go? (Multiplus inverter, CCGX in ESS mode)

Similarly, if the batteries are full, will it also drop the grid draw?

Thanks :)

Yes, the grid setpoint has to obey the rules:

-Battery settings

-Input current limit (works both ways)

-maybe some other things :)
